While the quality of the dishes is on a par with any fine dining restaurant in London, the atmosphere and setting is not perhaps what you would expect. We’re avid food hunters who’ve gone to great lengths to bring the finest crab and steak to your table, so the experience and atmosphere has to match.
Join us in our cavernous cellar, and you’ll find yourself seated at benches and long tables - communal dining that evokes the fishing huts of Norway, where our majestic king crabs originate.
Around the candlelit tables you’ll see tanks housing the live king crabs and fridges of mammoth cuts of steak. The food is opulent and ‘hands-on’ - we really do bring out the Beast in our guests.

Whether it’s the tasting menu, our selection From The Sea or the mouthwatering A La Carte, we’ll take you on a fine dining voyage of discovery.
The A La Carte menu is an enticing exploration of Land and Sea; begin your journey with Lobster Tacos, Oysters or perhaps Japanese Wagyu Tataki? The main event is, of course, dominated by our crab and steak - Japanese Kobe or Wagyu Sirloin, Whole Norwegian King Crab, King Crab Legs and Claws, USDA Nebraskan beef, Australian or Irish Chateaubriand, or perhaps the finest Lake District steaks - Bone-in Ribeye, Bone in Sirloin or Porterhouse.
For the ultimate fine dining experience, it has to be the Beast Tasting Menu - Hand-Dived Orkney Island Scallop nestled alongside Japanese Wagyu Tataki; Norwegian King Crab with Cauliflower Carpaccio and Peak District Steak On The Bone, followed by a cheese course and then dessert.
