oysters

Oysters have always been regarded as a supreme delicacy, enjoyed by many around the world. Renowned for their salty and briny taste, these morsels of flavour are considered a luxury for the palate and a true delicacy to be savoured.  At Beast, we believe in serving only the finest of flavours from the land and sea, and oysters certainly make the cut.

Oysters at Beast

If this is your first, or 100th, time trying oysters, the halls of Beast are the perfect location to sample the ocean’s finest. Order a half or whole dozen for yourself, or perhaps order for the table. What do oysters taste like? Gillardeau Oysters, for example, have a really sweet taste with notes of dried fruit, while others may have a more salty flavour.

How to eat oysters at Beast? Served on a bed of ice, simply splash a few drops of our very own mignonette sauce, lemon and hot sauce should you desire or enjoy the simplicity of savouring an oyster as is. A perfect start to your experience at Beast.

A classic pairing for oysters is Champagne and sparkling wine and once you’ve had a glass of Champagne and a couple dozen oysters for the table, it’s time to summon the Beast. Steak from across the globe and the most incredible King Crab sit proudly on the Beast menu, awaiting your arrival. The cuts on the menu and the famous Beast blackboard include the most tender Wagyu steak, Kobe Fillet, and more locally sourced Lake District Sirloins. Pair your chosen cut with an assortment of delicious sides, such as the crispy and delicious Truffle Chips, seasonal Sauteed Mushrooms and our especially flavoursome Josper Grilled Aubergine.

No meal is complete without a glass of wine, and at Beast, we have over 300 bins of spectacular wine from around the world. Reds from Portugal, Spain and France, crisp whites from Chile, New Zealand and Australia. Browse the menu and decide upon your favourite, or perhaps consult our sommelier and ask for the perfect pairing to your Beast experience.
