We’re with writer, explorer and bon viveur Ernest Hemingway when he said: “My only regret in life is that I did not drink more wine”.
At Beast, there’s simply no excuse; we have 300 exceptional bins of wines from across the world; big flavours and big names including Lafite, Margaux, Rothschild, Opus One, Sine Qua Non, and Masseto.
Wine plays a big part in the whole Beast experience, so if you need a guide, we’re here to take you through the list and find the perfect pairing for your palate and plate.
Vintages from the vine
Whether it’s by the glass, carafe, bottle or large format, the Beast wine list is a true voyage of discovery; alongside old favourites and renowned vintages, you’ll find wines from lesser-known producers and vineyards in the likes of Greece and Portugal, as well as the bigger players including France, New Zealand, Italy, Spain, USA and Argentina.
We understand that you may want to experience a wide range of wines on your visit, so the menu reflects that - perhaps kick off with a glass of Californian Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs or an exquisite Chablis Les Champréaux from Guillaume Vrignaud.
Red, white or rosé, champagne or sparkling wine, the Beast restaurant London menu has a sumptuous selection.
If it’s a white you’re seeking, peruse the array from Burgundy and Bordeaux, Greece and Germany; tempting reds from every corner of France and Italy; Argentina and Austria; California and Chile; and everywhere in between.
That’s before we’ve even mentioned New Zealand, Australia and South Africa…
Sweet and fortified wines are the perfect full stop to any Beast feast, so let us suggest a glass of Hungarian Tokaj, Château d’Yquem from Sauternes or something from our enviable cellar of ports.
If you’re not a huge fan of wine, we won’t chastise or judge - simply steer you to the array of Beast cocktails (Signature, Classic and Non-Alcoholic) or perhaps a glass of beer or cider.
Feast with the Beast
We are avid food hunters - obsessive; like the Beast, we can be wild but we’re also worldly and wise. We know how to seek out the finest flesh from land and sea - the ultimate in surf and turf.
We’ve gone to the ends of the Earth and the ocean depths to bring the best beef, the finest king crab and other sensational seafood.
It’s an experience like no other, brought to you by our intrepid Norwegian trawlermen and cattle farmers on the wild prairies of Nebraska.
Lobster Tacos, Wild King Prawn and Hand Dived Orkney Isles Scallop are just three of the incredible starters; the main event focuses on Norwegian King Crab (whole or legs and claws), alongside the world’s best beef from Japan, Ireland, the USA, Australia and the UK.
From Japanese Wagyu Tataki to Lake District Farmers Ribeye; USDA Nebraskan steaks to Australian Chateaubriand, this is meat nirvana.
The best of the best.
Find the Beast
Beast is a subterranean sanctuary, a candlelit corner of the capital, but we’ve done all the exploring already, so the location is not going to baffle and bemuse.
In the heart of metropolitan Mayfair, Beast is in Chapel Place. Before or after your Beast experience, take in some of the best culture and retail the capital has to offer - whether that’s enjoying the green spaces of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens; indulging in the very best shopping at the likes of Liberty, Harrods and Selfridges; or getting a fix of art and history at The National Gallery, V&A or head over to Fitzrovia to visit the British Museum.
